DARE

Term 1 was busy for room 23 and one of the activities we had to fit into our schedule was our D.A.R.E lessons with Constable Andy. We often went over to room 22 for our lessons and they usually involved stuff like how to say no, the different personalities such as passive, aggressive and assertive which mean.

Passive- Accepting or allowing what happened with no resistance and an easy target for bully's.

Assertive- You come across positive and have confidence in yourself.

Aggressive- You may get angry and use force upon some one else.

They were some of the ideas we talked about.

D.A.R.E stands for:

D- Drugs
A- Abuse
R- Resistance
E- Education

Also

D- Decision Making
A- Assertiveness
R- Responsibilities
E- Esteem

All in all D.A.R.E was a great program and well worth while.
