Morena. Term three week two is Maori Language Week. All week we have been learning how to speak in Maori, On PINTV the people that present give us a quiz to do, there is the classroom quiz and individual quiz. Todays individual quiz is kei te pehea koe? What you have to do is write down your full name and your last name and the answer and put it into your classroom bag and the winners get called over the loud speaker before morning tea. The year 8 winners go to room 23 and the year 7 winners go to room 43. The winners prize is either a big Maori Language Week sticker, a pen or a small sticker. You pick out of a bag a number and the number it matches up to is the prize you get. Maori Language Week is very fun. Every class in the school contributes to this.
